In this comfy jacket, Meghan Markle looks cozy in her pre-King home in Los Angeles. And there’s nothing wrong with that – unless you’re a royal family member. Right now, she isn’t, so get over it! She doesn’t need a vast palace or personal servants to be happy. That 1.8 million dollar house is something she got on her own! As long as she has comfortable clothes, Prince Harry, and children to surround her, she can stand up to the royal family and all the other archaic institutions of the world if she dares.

Home Sweet Home.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 2,262-square-foot mansion she’s standing in in this photo is located near downtown Hollywood. According to TMZ, Meghan lived there from 2011 to 2013, when she married producer Trevor Engelson.

Why drink one glass when you can drink two – in each hand? Meghan Markle’s parties are caught on camera here. Chug, chug, chug! And before you get all snooty and holier-than-thou about her, think back to your twenties.

Booze!

As anyone who gets a new job usually does, Megan threw a milestone party at her house as soon as she got her first significant role. The main event? Friends dug through her closet of affordable outfits from Zara, calling the celebration “Sayonara Zara.” The Duchess knew she would soon be wearing COACH dresses and carrying designer handbags, though she probably didn’t realize that fancy hats would be necessary for the Duchess.

This photo made the royals sweat with excitement. From short shorts to miniskirts, Meghan Markle has been serving up looks long before she came under the jurisdiction of the royal dress code. She is pictured leaving the New York City set of NBC’s The Today Show in 2016.

Deal Or No Deal: A Christmas Special.

While the reality show made it harder for Meghan to be taken seriously as an actress, that white, red fur-lined dress and silver high-heeled shoes meant it wasn’t all rosy during the special episode on stage. As New Idea reports, “several former models from the show have since told of having to endure the ‘cold’ in lightweight outfits and standing for hours in painful heels.”

Deal Or No Deal

In 2018, Megan commented on her stint as a briefcase girl in Esquire magazine, ” I would have it fall into the category of things I did while auditioning to try to make ends meet… Certainly, working on Deal or No Deal was an experience for me, and it made me realize what I’d rather be doing… After all, I was the unfortunate number 26 that no one ever picked. After all, it took me forever to stand in those uncomfortable and inexpensive five-inch heels and wait for someone to pick my number so I could go and sit down.”

Members of the royal family are probably thrilled with Meghan Markle’s antics. She is pictured in a strategically tight outfit (for the camera?).

Costumes

In a 2013 interview with Marie Claire, Meghan said: “Before Suits, I did a pilot every year. Six years ago, I even did a pilot for ABC with Patrick J. Adams, who plays Mike Ross on the show. It’s been that long! We’ve always been perceived the same way on television. He’s the gruff guy, I’m the polished girl, and there’s this tension of, “Will they ever be together?” It’s just wild to finally shoot a pilot that will last more than one season… It’s like my cup is overflowing.”

As shocking as it is, Meghan Markle had her own life before marrying Prince Harry. Not only did she live with someone else, but she got married and – dun dun dun dun – divorced! She is with her ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, at the COACH Legacy Photo Exhibit. The couple married in 2011 and divorced in 2013. Trevor Engelson is an American film producer and literary manager.

Playboy Bunny.

Meghan told Good Housekeeping in October 2016 that she “used to work as a calligrapher for weddings and events – it was my side job while I was auditioning. I think handwritten notes are a lost art form. My father wrote me a letter, which I still have when I booked my first pilot. The idea that someone took the time to put it on paper is special.” The more you know!

A dazzling prom dress and flowy corsage—let’s face it, she looks much better than anyone in the royal family on a good day. Let’s hope she had a chaperone. And on the dance floor, she left plenty of room for Jesus. Clad in a dazzling white dress and curly hair, she paired the whole look with classic’ 90s-style brows and shimmery makeup. These shots are practically the showpiece of the decade.

Markle is a serial killer

In season four, Meghan appeared in episode 17 of Once Upon a Crime. In it, she played Charlotte Boyd, a real estate broker found unconscious in bed in a Sleeping Beauty costume. Evading the detectives’ questions and making up alibis, she is eventually arrested and charged with the murder of several people. As it turns out, she dressed her victims up in fairy tale costumes and tried to do the same to avoid giving herself away to the detectives… By the way, spoiler warning!

Not everyone can take such stunning selfies, but why she decided she needed a MySpace angle with all her natural beauty is hard to say. Everyone is a victim of social media pressure, especially now in the age of Instagram filters and editing apps like FaceTune. She doesn’t need to edit anything. She already looks like the perfect filter. And her look is so mesmerizing, it’s no wonder Harry fell in love with her.

Pajama Party.

The off-screen chemistry is consistently recognized as the driving force behind the show’s raving success. Royal connoisseur Andrew Morton wrote about her relationship with her Suits colleague: “When Meghan started reading the script at the table, it was obvious that there was chemistry between Meghan and Patrick – that elusive quality, the equivalent of lightning in a bottle in show business. There needs to be a spark between them because the ups and downs of their love story will be the story arc of the entire series, should the network pick it up.”

Here’s a picture of Meghan Markle photobombing the beach. At first, we didn’t even notice the beach. Anyway, now that Markle is estranged from the royal family, she can look forward to more sunny days like this one and keep up with 21st-century fashion trends without the 94-year-old queen breathing down her neck.

Close your eyes… Your Majesty

In a long series of tweets, Adams wrote, “Meghan Markle and I have spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits. On day one, she was an enthusiastic, kind, compassionate, joy-giving, and supportive person… She fell in love, moved to another country, became world famous, and began finding her place in a family dynamic that can be described as complicated at best and archaic and toxic at worst. It is utterly obscene that the royal family, whose new member is now growing within it, is promoting and amplifying accusations of ‘bullying’ against a woman who herself had to flee the UK to protect her family and her mental health.”
