Big Sisters reality star Amy Slaton has decided to try her hand at a new career. The 38-year-old is preparing for her musical debut and has already shared a snippet of her first song, “Pounds Hollow,” a country composition created using artificial intelligence.

However, not everyone in her family liked Amy’s idea. In a segment of the show’s new season, her brother, Chris Combs, expressed skepticism about the use of AI, stating that a person can’t claim full ownership of their work if artificial intelligence has done a significant part of it. Amy, however, made it clear that she views the technology merely as a tool and intends to see it through to completion.

For Slaton, this project turned out to be much more important than simply recording a song. She explained that the idea first appeared in her head and then gradually evolved into a full-fledged musical project: from composing the song to filming, editing, and releasing the finished video. Amy admitted that she’s currently learning everything on the fly, trying new things, and trying not to be afraid to step out of her comfort zone. She says it’s especially important to show her sons that it’s never too late to set new goals and pursue a long-held dream.

Her eldest son, Gage, helped her with the project. His mother even gave him the humorous title of “co-director” and, as Amy explained, actively participated in the filming process.

However, musical experimentation is nothing new for Slaton. She reminded her followers that she’s been singing for many years by posting an old recording of herself. Now, she’s decided to take the next step and turn her passion for music into a full-fledged project.

This story will be one of the plotlines of the new season of “1000-Lb Sisters.” Over a family dinner, Amy told her relatives that she’d written a song and wanted to make a music video for it.

However, the family’s reaction was mixed. Her sister, Misty Wentworth, clearly wasn’t thrilled when she heard the song. When asked by the show’s creators for her impressions of the song, she gave a rather cautious answer, effectively hinting that it’s better to discuss her true emotions behind closed doors.

But her relatives’ criticism doesn’t seem to be stopping Amy. In addition to music, she continues to pursue creative endeavors and sells her own paintings through social media.

Slaton is determined and even humorously warned those around her that if she one day becomes rich and famous, they shouldn’t come to her for help.

Now fans can only wait for the premiere of the new season to find out how far Amy is willing to go in her music career. Season 11 of “1000-Lb Sisters” is scheduled to premiere on September 1st.
