In an April 24 interview with People, the former TODAY co-host said she’s not seeing her mystery man.

“My new mantra is that my joy is non-negotiable. I’ll negotiate the time. I’ll negotiate money. “But my joy, I can’t,” she said of her new mantra. “I was in a long-term relationship that just ended.” It’s always hard when you love someone. “You miss it when it doesn’t last.”

Kathie Lee said her last relationship taught her a lot and gave her a new lease on life.

“You shouldn’t marry everyone you fall in love with. “I don’t want to love easily,” she said. “I’ve been loved three times.” “The people who have meant the most in your life are the hardest to get over.”

Kathie Lee said she won’t know anything about her relationship status.

“I don’t want to talk about my personal life,” she said after interviewer Rachel Smith called her single on April 24. “You don’t know. Nobody knows.

She said she’d only tell if she got married again.

“If the Lord brings another man into my life, I won’t tell anyone,” she said. “We’ll probably get married privately and tell the world a year later.”

Kathie Lee said she wasn’t wearing a wedding ring and joked that her left hand was “as naked as a left hand could be.”

She also denied being the first “Golden Bachelorette.”

“I’m not getting in the hot tub with anyone.”  “I don’t think I could fall in love with someone in a few weeks,” she said. “That wouldn’t work for me.”

“I vote for Hoda!” she said about her former co-host, Hoda Kotb.

Kathie Lee married Frank Gifford in 1986, and they were married until he died in 2015. They had two children together. Cassidy, 30, and Cody, 34.

In 2019, Kathie Lee discussed starting to date again on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.

“It’s surreal,” she said. “It’s surreal.” “The world’s changed so much.”

In late 2021, she talked about her love life with Hoda and Jenna.

“I have a sweet man in my life,” she said. “He’s good for me, and I’m good for him.

“That’s all I’ll say about it,” she added.

In August 2022, she said she was in a relationship without sharing details.

“I have someone special in my life,” she told People. “If I don’t talk about it, it stays special.”
