Malia Obama is 25 and the daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama. She was 10 when her dad was elected President of the United States. She and her sister Sasha, 23, became famous.
Since leaving Washington, D.C., Malia has grown into a beautiful young woman living independently of her parents.
She’s also changed her style. She went from a shy girl to an adult who now rocks long hair and washboard abs and is comfortable in her own style.
But that’s not all. Malia has also developed her identity, including dropping her famous last name.
As she starts her career, Malia wants to distance herself from her famous last name.
On January 18, at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, Malia Obama dropped “Obama” from her last name in favor of a different stage name.
She also worked as a writer on Donald Glover’s Amazon Prime series, Swarm. He said she was hard-working.
Malia has a laid-back style.
“Her writing style is great,” he told Vanity Fair in 2022. “She’s just amazingly talented.” “She’s focused and working hard.”
Others saw her talent, too. Steven Glover, Malia’s brother, also praised her.
Malia and Sasha lived together in LA after Sasha moved from Michigan to California. The young women now live in Brentwood near the USC campus, where Sasha was a student until recently.

Malia has never discussed her relationships, but her mom said she brought men home to meet her and her husband.
In 2014, Michelle joked about her daughters’ love lives with Ellen DeGeneres: “They’re bringing grown men home now. Before, it was just a pop band. Now they have boyfriends and real lives. “They’ve grown up well.
Malia was linked to Rory Farquharson in 2017. They were seen kissing at a Harvard football game.
In 2022, she was dating Ethiopian producer Dawit Eklund. In late 2023, she was seen with rapper Aminé in Los Angeles. She has never confirmed any relationships.
Barack and Michelle are proud of their daughters. The former First Lady calls them “amazing young women.”
Michelle is proud of her daughters and said so on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I listened to my mom when she was raising us.”
