Tiger Woods found himself in a rather rare pairing on Tuesday, except it wasn’t on the golf course.
The 15-time major champion was photographed together with ex-wife Elin Nordegren as the former couple were reunited to watch their sone Charlie accept his state championship golf ring.
Charlie Woods, 15, helped The Benjamin School win the 2023 Class 1A golf title last November.
Woods and Nordegren were married from 2004-2010 before splitting amid Woods’ infamous cheating scandal that eventually led to the champion golfer entering rehab for sex addiction.
The couple posed for photos with Charlie separately at the Palm Beach ceremony, but have reportedly been amicably co-parenting for years. In a 2015 Time magazine interview, Woods described Nordegren as “one of my best friends.”
Charlie Woods hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps and carve out a career as a professional golfer. The 15 year old has had success as a junior golfer and recently attempted to pre-qualify for the PGA Tour’s Cognizant Classic near his home, but shot a 16-over 86.
Nordergen, 44, is in a relationship with former Miami Dolphin Jordan Cameron and the couple share two children.
Woods, 48, is expected to return to action in two weeks at the Masters Tournament, the golf season’s first major.
