The well-known actress Brigitte Bardot is furious. A report recently said that the 91-year-old actress had died. Now, she hits back with full force.
On October 16, the French newspaper Var-Matin published an article saying that actress Brigitte Bardot had been in a hospital in Toulon, France, for almost three weeks. The website quoted an internet celebrity called Aqababe, who said he had special information about Bardot’s death.
The Daily Mail reports that Aqababe said in a now-deleted post, “Her coffin was ordered in Saint-Paul-de-Jarrat in the 09 (Ariège) department. An icon has died, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten and a lasting impression on the hearts of the French.”
Almost a week after the first article was published, Brigitte Bardot replied with some happy news. She wrote on X in French: “I have no idea who started this ‘fake news’ about my disappearance, but I’m well and I’m not planning to give up.” A word to the wise.”
But it was true that she had been to the hospital. On October 17, Bardot’s office told the AFP news agency in France, via Reuters, that the actress had undergone “minor surgery,” which was successful.
Influencer Aqababe deleted his original claim. However, he says that it isn’t Bardot running her X account.
After Bardot replied, Aqababe said again that it is not Bardot who runs her X account.
“I deleted my special tweet about Brigitte Bardot’s death. She doesn’t manage her Twitter account herself, as Aqababe’s French post says, which will be confirmed officially when the AFP announces the death.
