Samantha, Mason’s ex, died in an accident five years ago when she was only 22.

They had a son together, Connor, who was three when his mother died.

After this, Mason knew that his most important job was to provide the boy with love, security, and stability, even though he was struggling with unimaginable pain.

Then he met Julia, a woman who became very important to him.

After months of excitement and hard work, the wedding day of Mason and Julia finally arrived.

The wedding continued until dawn, and the guests were still having fun!

Eventually, the party came to an end.

Mason went into the hallway where their room was and where he and Julia would spend their first night as a married couple.

When he returned, he knocked on the door, expecting it to open soon. But no one answered.

On one of the pieces of furniture was a single sheet of paper—a letter.

He held the letter with shaking hands and began to read. Julia had written that she needed some time to herself.

She promised to return the next day, and they could discuss everything.

Julia returned to the room the following day, just as she had said she would.

Shortly after returning home, Julia disappeared and was gone forever. She didn’t plan to return or explain her decision to anyone. She only sent Mason a short message to say she was leaving and starting a new life with someone else.

At first, Mason didn’t find any critical information, but he later learned that his friend Peter had also been gone for several hours on a crucial night. This made him even more suspicious.

Mason wanted to forget the past. He put his engagement ring up for auction online for $714 – a rather unusual and surprisingly low price.

He wrote a post online that quickly caught the attention of Internet users. He wrote: “Hi, I recently got married in Mexico – on June 3rd. I have for sale the wedding set I wore during the ceremony when my wife swore love and fidelity to me. Unfortunately, six days later, I discovered that she had started an affair before the wedding – she cheated on me during her bachelorette party. They dated for eight weeks, including during the wedding. Mason did not post this offer to sell – it was a way for him to vent his emotions after a painful betrayal.

After everything he had been through, Mason finally felt better. He sold the engagement ring and got rid of everything that reminded him of Julia. Two years have passed, and he feels much better. Although he still feels terrible about being betrayed, he now sees it as something that makes him stronger and wiser.
