Famous singer and actress Barbra Streisand shared an unexpected story with her followers, which she herself called a real miracle.

On February 27, the 83-year-old star posted a photo of a corner near her house on Instagram. The picture shows a recreation area with a large flowerpot, where bougainvillea has bloomed. In the caption, she admitted that she was sincerely surprised by the result.

According to Streisand, all the pillows on her terrace are burgundy, but bougainvillea rarely has that shade. Therefore, they planted two-colored plants nearby – crimson and purple. But then the unexpected happened: the flowers seemed to “mix” and produced exactly the burgundy shade she had dreamed of.

The actress suggested that this could be an example of the power of thought or even a kind of “manifestation of the desired”, although she herself does not undertake to explain this. She added that she is still amazed by what happened.

Fans instantly reacted in the comments. Some wrote that this was proof of the power of intention, others that “the universe helped make a wish come true.” Many called it real magic and admired the flowers’ beauty.

It is worth noting that Barbra Streisand is known not only for her creativity but also for her love of gardening. She often shows off her plants on social networks. For example, in 2025, a new rose variety was discovered in her garden, called “Barbra’s Baby.” This is not the first time – back in 2001, one of the varieties of roses was also named in her honor.

A new, unusual shade of bougainvillea from her garden may later receive the name of the star.
