Kerry Katona has decided to stay rooted in the UK, shelving her dreams of relocating to Marbella. Instead, the 43-year-old former pop star is preparing to move into a smaller home nearby in Cheshire.

Despite the allure of the sun-soaked Spanish coast, Kerry says her children—Molly (22), Lilly-Sue (21), Heidi (16), Max (15), and DJ (10)—are the heart of her decision. Molly recently enrolled in a music college, and DJ is thriving at school.

In her candid column, she shared, “We’re moving next month and haven’t packed a thing. I’ll miss this place—it’s stunning and we have wonderful neighbors. But it’s time.”

Katona admitted her £2 million mansion has become overwhelming to manage. “It’s just too big. I want something more snug. The new house is closer to DJ’s school, and there’ll be less chaos to clean up.”

Beyond the move, Kerry has been navigating personal and health challenges. Following reconstructive nose surgery to repair damage from past cocaine use, she revealed emotional disappointment in her fiancé, Ryan Mahoney. “Ryan wasn’t there for me. He was in London getting a tattoo when I was in the hospital. I haven’t seen him since the operation,” she said. “It hurt. I needed support, but my mum stepped up. She looked after me when I felt most alone.”

Kerry also recently sought emergency care for severe endometriosis pain. “The doctor said an egg went into my stomach instead of through. The pain was unbearable—they had to give me morphine. I’m 43 now, and honestly, I hope my periods stop soon.”

Despite everything, Kerry remains resilient—ready for a fresh start in a smaller home and focused on family above all else.
