Dolly Parton’s House Is Far From What You’d Expect – Take A Look

Dolly Parton’s home is exactly what you’d expect! She lives in a 3,324-square-foot mansion just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband of many years, Carl Dean. The couple, who have been together for decades, bought their Brentwood home for $400,000 in 1999 and have loved it so much that they haven’t even put it on the market yet.

It’s easy to see why they love their property, with more than ten structures built around the home. The Kiwi Report says the “Jolene” singer and businessman have a tennis court, swimming pool, chapel, and many pavilions on their estate. Dolly has so much land around her house that she even built several barns.

“We have a farm, and Carl is happy to keep the fields mowed, the barns painted, and working away on his farm equipment,” she told The Mirror in December 2019. Since Carl doesn’t like the spotlight as much as his wife, he usually stays inside on the property.

“Listen, he’s a homebody and doesn’t like to go out in public,” Dolly explained. “He doesn’t particularly care about being around anybody but me.” He’s just always asked me to leave this out of it. “He doesn’t like all the fuss.”

If the Nashville native does decide to leave the house, he’ll have to pass by the big iron gates at the end of the driveway. From there, you can see the giant American flag waving in front of their home.

Given how attached the actress and Carl are to their home, Dolly was okay with staying put during the 2020 pandemic. In fact, a source exclusively told Closer in July that the Grammy winner was grateful she got to spend more time with Carl during the lockdown.

Dolly was excited to start traveling for work again now that things were more open, but she also realized how much she loved being home with Carl. “She’s trimming her schedule as much as she can,” the source revealed.

Dolly and her husband’s mansion looks amazing, but they’ve previously owned other excellent properties. In 2017, they put their Glencliff home in Nashville on the market for $1.2 million. The place was luxurious, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, walk-in closets, four-car garages, a guest unit, and more.
