Meghan Markle’s Son Was A Beautiful Child, Look At Him Now

In March 2020, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan stepped back from their roles as senior royal family members.

This also marked the end of constant media attention for their son Archie. Unlike Prince William and Princess Catherine’s children, we are not accustomed to seeing Archie publicly.

In 2020, we saw the little royal only twice. The first time was his birthday in May when the Duke and Duchess shared a cute video from storytime. The Sussexes’ Christmas card in December featured a second rare snap of the family.

Throughout 2021, we were given glimpses of Archie and his sister Lilibet, including home footage shared during Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan also includes rare pictures of Archie celebrating his first birthday.

Archie was born in the United Kingdom on May 6, 2019, and the documentary was released on December 8, 2022. On May 6, Archie celebrated his birthday. On the same day, his grandfather, King Charles, was officially appointed the new monarch during his coronation ceremony.

Prince Harry attended the coronation, but Archie did not. Instead, he stayed at his Montecito home with Meghan and his sister, Princess Lilibet.

The royal family did not acknowledge Archie’s birthday celebration. 

Archie has spent most of his life in the United States. The ‘intimate’ documentary showed him cradled by his mother while holding an American flag.

In December 2022, a leaked image shared on Twitter proved that Archie looks just like his father, sparking debates about who he resembles more. 

For Christmas 2021, Harry and Meghan shared their family Christmas card, which featured the first official picture of baby Lilibet, born in June of that year.

In the photo, Archie is dressed in jeans and a bright white shirt, resembling his red-headed dad. Little Lili steals the show in the snap.

In March 2021, royal watchers got another close-up look at Archie when Silver Tree, Duchess Meghan’s long-time friend and director, shared a series of personal images, including one with little Archie. The photos were accompanied by a stirring caption defending Meghan leading up to the Oprah interview.

Fans were in awe of how much he had grown.

He looks like a perfect combination of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. He has Harry’s dark red hair and Meghan’s unmistakable eyes.
