Barbara Eden is loving life at 93. She has lots of energy and big plans for her future. A source told Closer she is still in great shape and active. 

Chris Carmack talks about what it was like to be in the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ cast. The glamorous star, now in her golden years, was recently spotted in L.A. just before celebrating her 93rd birthday on August 23. The actress drove to the salon to get ready for a date night with her husband, Jon Eicholtz, which she discussed with People earlier that month.

“I’m so grateful to have reached this age,” the I Dream of Jeannie star said.”I’ll be spending my birthday having lunch with my husband and some close friends, and I’ll also enjoy the weekend with my family, my sister Alison, her husband, and their children.”The actress, who has been acting for a long time, told Closer that her job is “always an adventure.” 

“I’ve lived in the same house for 40 years,” she said. “So my life is all about my family, house, husband, dog Bentley and friends.”

She also thanked her fans for the birthday wishes.”It makes my day to know so many of you have reached out and feel so fondly for me today and have sent such beautiful messages,” she wrote on X.

Although her famous TV series ended in 1970, Barbara is still fit enough to wear her old costume, which was a surprise when she first wore it in 1965.

“It became very popular. I told people, ‘Other people are known for very glamorous parts of their body – I’ve got a bellybutton,'” the actress told Entertainment Tonight in July. “It’s not the sexiest thing in the world, but then the standards and practices for movies realized that I had a belly button that I had never shown before.”

“She looks amazing,” the insider continued. “She even fit into her I Dream of Jeannie costume, and she still has the energy of someone half her age. 

“She always says exercise is the best medicine,” the source adds. 

Nothing can stop Barbara.

“She loves traveling around the country to meet her fans at conventions. She also does a lot of charity work. 

The source continues: “She doesn’t just travel within America. A few months ago, she went to Spain for a charity event to raise money for older people. 

“She now says she wants to do more international travel this year and has a long list of places she wants to visit. She even says she wants to go to Madagascar with her husband. 

“She’s not limited by age.”
