Anthony Hopkins’s recent public appearance, accompanied by his renowned spouse and admirers, has elicited astonishment among onlookers.

The couple dated for two years before getting married on March 1, 2003, in front of friends and family members at Hopkins’ estate in Malibu, California. The guests were provided with a repast of Greek cuisine accompanied by daffodils—the national flower of Wales, Hopkins’s birthplace and childhood home. Following the nuptials, Arroyave departed from the antique business and entered the entertainment industry, joining her husband. In 2007, she produced and starred in the film Slipstream, which Hopkins wrote, directed, and starred in. Arroyave also appeared in a minor role alongside Hopkins in The Human Stain.

The couple have been close friends with the actress Salma Hayek for decades.
