Experts have found that your blood type can affect how long you live

For example, research shows that some antibodies, red blood cells, and antigens can help people live longer and healthier lives without serious diseases.

People with blood type 1 are the most likely to enjoy a long, healthy life. They are well protected from infections but still need to care for their heart and blood vessels. Those with blood type 2 are more likely to get diabetes, colds, and stress. Those with blood type 3 are more likely to get cancer and often suffer from sore throats and ear infections. People with blood type 4 are more likely to get infections and have heart defects.

However, experts say that people with a blood type other than one do not need to worry too much since the risk of heart disease and life expectancy depend on many factors, including how much exercise people take and their overall health.

During the study, scientists observed about 50,000 middle-aged and older adults. They found that people with a blood type other than 1 were 9 percent more likely to die during the study from any health-related cause and 15 percent more likely to die from cardiovascular disease compared to people with blood type 1.

The researchers also looked at whether a person’s blood type could be linked to their risk of stomach cancer. They found that people with a blood type other than 1 had a 55% higher risk of stomach cancer than people with blood type 1.

Even when the researchers took into account other factors, such as age, sex, smoking, and a person’s social class and ethnicity, the link between blood type, disease risk, and lifespan remained.
