In November 2018, Mrs Doubtfire was 25. To celebrate the special anniversary, the cast got back together on the TV show Today and talked about what it was like on set. Actors Lisa Jakub, Matthew Lawrence, and Mara Wilson — who played children Lydia, Chris, and Natalie — aren’t children anymore, but they reminisced with clarity.

Robin Williams, who has died, would have been there too, but his former co-stars could still feel his strong presence.

Lawrence was only 12 years old when he tried out for the role of Robin Williams and Sally Field’s son, Chris.

Lawrence had a small role in some episodes of the popular TV show Blossom. This was before and after she starred in the successful film. In 1994, he was cast as the main character in the short-lived series Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad. After that, he kept working on TV movies and shows, but his next big success was Brotherly Love. Sadly, the series ran for only a short time, and when it ended in 1997, Lawrence returned to other projects.

In 2006, Matthew Lawrence’s older brother, Joey, competed on the show Dancing With the Stars. Cheryl Burke, a professional dancer, also starred in the show. The following year, when the cast went on tour, Matthew and Burke got to know each other better.

Matthew and Burke dated for about a year before breaking up in February 2008.

After the 2000 series Boy Meets World ended, Matthew Lawrence did not leave Hollywood. He carried on acting, but you might not remember some of the other roles he played. Most notably, Lawrence was cast in The Hot Chick in 2002. It also made quite a lot of money.

The following year, Lawrence had a small but interesting role in an episode of CSI: Miami. While he and Cheryl Burke were a couple, he also appeared in the sports comedy The Comebacks. The talented actor also played a more serious role in the 2008 film Trucker. By 2014, he had even tried his hand at horror in the little-known film Of Silence.

Everyone knows Matthew Lawrence can sing really well. In 2017, he worked with his brothers to release a song called “Lose Myself” under their band name, Still Three.

The brothers had been teasing that they would be recording a single together for a while. They announced in 2014 that they would collaborate on a musical project.

Some celebrities are quick to support politicians or share their views on politics, but Matthew Lawrence doesn’t talk much about politics. We don’t know who he voted for in the 2016 presidential election, but we do know that he was in favour of making marijuana legal. Several states made it legal to buy and sell marijuana in 2016, and Lawrence was in favour of this.

After breaking up in 2008, the couple didn’t speak to each other for almost ten years. But she was still thinking about her ex. In late 2016, the dancer’s family encouraged her to contact her ex.

Lawrence and his girlfriend had been dating for about 18 months. On her 34th birthday, he proposed to her.

In July 2018, Ben Savage congratulated Lawrence on his engagement on Instagram. E! News reported that Savage was actually at Lawrence and Burke’s engagement party in Los Angeles, California. This made for a tiny — but very appreciated — reunion. Three months earlier, Savage also met up again with two of his former co-stars, Rider Strong and Will Friedle. They had played Savage’s brother and Lawrence’s brother in the show, respectively.
